WHEN TO ORDER

Timings can vary among couples, but we propose the following as a usual guideline. If time is of the essence, our expedited service can streamline the proofing and production process. For further details, please get in touch.

  • SAVE THE DATES

    Order 2-3 weeks before sending
    Plan ahead for your special day by ordering your save the dates to hand out about 12-18 months in advance. Give guests time to mark their calendars.

  • INVITATIONS

    Order 4-6 weeks before sending
    Whilst it can vary, the average turnaround time for invitations from end-to-end is around 2-4 weeks.
    Unlike save the dates where information is kept to a minimal, invitations can be formed of several pieces, handmade elements and information, so we would always advise leaving plenty time.

  • ON THE DAY STATIONERY

    Order 6-8 weeks before wedding day
    It may be that you only need a piece or two of on-the-day stationery but we would suggest ordering any on the day stationery no later than 6-8 weeks before the day. This will ensure that we have enough time to make last minute changes before we go ahead and print but if you do require at shorter notice please get in touch.

THE ORDERING PROCESS

  • 1. CONTACT US FOR A QUOTE

    Please contact us to discuss design requirements and retrieve a personalised quote to suit what you need.
    This can be done either via our enquiry form here or by emailing or messaging us directly via any of our channels Etsy, Facebook or Instagram.

  • 2. PLACE YOUR ORDER

    We accept orders via our website, Etsy, Facebook or Instagram, whichever you prefer. *
    No wording is collected at this point. We will contact you within 24-48 hours of you placing the order with a request for the wording and details required for your personalised order.


  • 3. PROOFING

    Upon receipt of the details we will create a digital proof for you to review of all parts.
    We offer two revisions beyond the initial digital proof to ensure any errors are corrected and any stylistic changes are completed and you are happy with the final copy.
    At the end of this process we will have you sign off your proofs ready for printing.

  • 4. PRODUCTION

    Once your proofs are signed off we will then move your order to our production queue ready for printing etc
    The length of time this takes will vary depending on the printing method and how many handmade elements are required.
    Most orders are completed within 1-2 weeks but can take longer. Our aim is to complete production within 4 weeks maximum.

  • 5. DELIVERY

    Upon the completion of your order we will carefully check and pack your order ready to be posted or collected.
    All orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked service or if your local to Lanarkshire you can collect your order from us directly.

*If ordering more than 6 weeks before your big day a £50 booking fee will apply and signed Terms and Conditions secures your date. This is non refundable and ensures the time is blocked out in my diary to design and create everything for you. This will be deducted from your total order value when the remainder is due paid at the point of creating your digital proofs.

NOT SURE WHEN TO SEND YOUR INVITES?

HERE IS A ROUGH GUIDE TO GIVE A GENERAL IDEA OF WHEN TO SEND YOUR INVITATIONS TO YOUR GUESTS ALTHOUGH BE SURE TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION GIVING YOUR GUESTS ENOUGH NOTICE IF IT IS A DESTINATION WEDDING OR IF IT IS A WEEK DAY OR A WEEKEND.
AS THESE FACTORS WILL IMPACT HOW MUCH NOTICE YOU NEED TO GIVE YOUR GUESTS. AS A RULE OF THUM 3-6 MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY SHOULD GIVE GUESTS PLEANTY TIME TO RSVP AND MAKE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS SUCH AS TIME OFF WORK, TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS OR CHILDCARE.
